The series Meraki [may-rah-kee] are photographs captured as in motion using mirror as a prop which are, at the same time abstractly expressed in stillness of reality. The idea was to create a borderline of reality vs post-production and focusing on how to make both play an abstracted reaction (meaning focused yet distracted in my opinion) while viewing and creating in illusion in the viewers observation in the process. These photographs are captured in beaches and concrete areas in Toronto and each displays a different view of the environment and the structure of the mirror.
